This is the video made from the 2015 #Kidzwish Christmas party.
We saw a lot of our Music Makers friends in this video, and Tanya spoke so well at the start. (You can see Tanya and Bailey as the video photo.)
Checkout how happy Mum looks in the bit with me. (Just before 3 minutes.)
We are so pleased we get invited to this.
For the show, the WIN Entertainment centre is full of people with disabilities or sicknesses, people just like me. It's like a big family.
Every one is accepted and included. Everyone is so happy.
There's dancing and laughter and smiles... and no one stares at us.
It's just a really fun, happy day.
Thanks everyone who helped make this happen. xx
Unlike most charity organisations, which focus on a single program or specific area of concern, KidzWish ensures that children and their families are not forgotten by falling through the gaps.
Over the last 12 months alone, over 500 children relied on a KidzWish Program. Additionally, 4,300 children and carers experience the KidzWish Children's Christmas Party each November.
As we say at KidzWish - Charity begins at home.
The Illawarra Grammar School said: "Today 42 Year 9 students attended the KidzWish Foundation preparations at the Wollongong Entertainment Centre, to wrap presents that will be presented to thousands of local children at the KidzWish Christmas party this Thursday. At various times this week, all of our Year 9 students are volunteering for KidzWish as they prepare for the party, assist on the day and help setup the Charity Ball, later in the week. KidzWish is a well known local organisation which assists many children facing diverse challenges in their lives in the Illawarra and our students are glad to be involved as part of the Community Service program at TIGS."
Goodie bags were filled with all the essentials: chocolate, chips, drinks, cookies and a light-up toy.
The year before that, I went to my very first one! We love them. (Me in 2013)
