There were many things were were lucky enough to experience. I made some good progress with my strength and determintion. I learned some new skills.
We managed to (mostly) stay away from hospitals, with just two visits for me.
I did have my first febrile convulsion (seizure), which scared us. It happened in the Emergency Department, when I was having high temperatures.
I got the screws taken out of my leg, from my femoral osteotomy surgery.
I got a wheelchair!
I went on a flying fox!
I moved in to my newly renovated home, with no steps and open plan living. Its so much better than before!
We finished the backyard, just in time for Christmas Day.
I turned five!
And, I graduated preschool and had transition days at my new primary school.

I turned five! It was quite a journey getting here, so we made a pretty big deal about it!

Thanks for being patient with us, as we stumble our way through the doubts and questions we constantly have. Thanks for cheering each of my successes and for showing me love and care.
