Goodbye cancer
and goodbye 2012!
I'm not tired! Happy 2013 to everyone. Thanks for all the love, support, jokes and encouragement this year. You have helped make a not so good year ok! Goodbye cancer and goodbye 2012! Kisses for Koko! Tomorrow mum will be 36 weeks pregnant - 5 more than she was with me! I think its weird when Koko moves around and I like kicking her, but I don't like it when she kicks me back! Its hard for me to sit up against mum now, because Koko is so big and takes up all the room! This photo was taken in August. It's an oldie - but a goodie! The holidays are the perfect time for family. My Mum and Dad are so great. My baby sister was kicking and rolling under Mum's belly skin today! It looked weird. I head-butted her! I had Christmas with Dad's family today.
This afternoon, I had dinner and then showed Aunty Carol that I wanted to roll over. Mum was worried that I would spew up all my dinner! I didn't (until later). I rolled and rolled and rolled and I lifted my head so high and I was so proud of myself! Aunty Carol cheered me on and gave me kisses, so I kept trying. I am getting so much stronger! I'm loving having so many people around, giving me cuddles and kisses. Hope you've all had a great day! I had a great day. I am chuckling more and more and loved having my cousins around me all day. I am feeling better and better every day and am getting my strength back. It was a great Christmas Day. Merry Christmas!! Oh no! My platelets were low again, so thankfully I can get them today and not tomorrow. Lucky Nanoo and Pokky are down visiting, so they can hold me all day tomorrow! (Platelet transfusion done... He was pretty comfortable all day. He's smiling and chuckling a lot more. He's still refusing to sleep! Here's to a great, healthy and happy Christmas! C.) I'm starting to feel much better and I'm getting my cheekiness back. I'm trying really hard to roll over and have been doing really well with my supported standing and walking. I just need to remember to sleep through the night so mum and dad can rest! Mum did boxing the whole time she was pregnant with me - now I'm ready to start! I finally got some splints for my hands - when I get cranky, I hold my thumbs in, so this should help keep them out. (My thumbs going inside my fists is a cerebral palsy thing. The thumb splints are intervention, to stop me from doing it.) Rockin' out in my new shirt! Thanks Aunty Eggs! I've already been very spoilt by lots of friends, thank you! I'm feeling a bit better today and no more nose bleeds! |
