Sometimes, disabilities take away your dignity.
Many people with cerebral palsy need assistance with toileting. Dexter does.
He has a shower seat, which is also a toilet seat. He is strapped in to it and then, the chair is positioned over the toilet bowl. Using this chair, Dexter is able to use the toilet, each night.
We do need to wipe his bottom.
Some people with cerebral palsy are able to do this for themselves, but may need more time.
We should never take for granted how much control we have over our hands and their movements!
Today's challenge - Use your non-dominant hand to wipe your bottom.
