I was about to have my very first hair cut.
They asked Mark to shave my head.
No one wanted this to happen, but it needed to me done.
My first round of chemotherapy had finished and, as a result,
my hair was falling out in chunks. Because of my cerebral palsy,
I wasn't able to get the chunks of hair out of my mouth myself.
Also, we didn't like the patchy-partly bald look the chemo had left me with.
Everyone was much happier getting my hair shaved today.
Today, my hair was shaved because we wanted to do it...
because we could do it...
because it was fun!
