But then, she took me somewhere fun!
She took me to the Color Run!
We didn't run... we just walked, but this was my first 'fun run'!
Cerebral palsy won't stop me!
Dad was away this weekend, so we dragged aunty Carol along and left my littlest sister with Nanoo and Pokky. At the start of The Color Run, there was a lot of music and cheering and fun noise. I worked on my dancing skills. Can you see how happy I was? And then, we were off. Mum pushed me in the pram. I was so cozy, I even fell asleep, for a little while. Until... my Noisy Sister started yelling: Colour me Purple! The people with the purple bottles were a bit scared to get much purple on me. I think they were scared to hurt me, but I'm pretty tough. And, things were about to get much more colourful! The next colour was green... and I got lots of green on me! Mum held her hand over my eyes, and the powder went everywhere! It was a lot of fun. |
We kept walking, and we got more and more colour on us.
At the blue station, we found our friend Janelle. She made sure I looked like a smurf! That was fun. Mum was a smurf, too!
Before we cold get in the car, we had to be cleaned and changed. I had colour in my ears.. my nose... my mouth and my eyes.
And, I was happy! What a fun morning!
