He was already 4 months old.
It was the first time he was out of a hospital.
He needed daily medications and constant monitoring.
He stopped breathing at least once a day.
He had his first operation a week after coming home.
The little bugger has put us through more than enough... He's made us cry.
He's made us hope.
He's made us stress and worry and he's made us panic.
But, more than anything else, he's made us stronger.
He's teaching us about what the important things are.
He's teaching us to be brave and positive.
He's teaching us to stand up for the people who need our help
and he's teaching us to accept generous offers with gratitude and grace.
He's teaching us to love, and we are incredibly proud of him.
It's been an extremely difficult two years,
but we couldn't imagine life without this cheeky little boy!
