My cerebral palsy and my being non-verbal make this teeth falling out business a bit tricky! I can't tell people when I have a loose tooth!
Well, today I went to the dentist.
I like my dentist. She checks me out every six months. I go to the dentist because I have cerebral palsy. And, my chemotherapy treatments would have been bad for my teeth... we're not sure how much damage the chemotherapy drugs might have done to my teeth.
My dentist said that my teeth are really good! I have no holes and they are looking good! The only bad thing is that I am always grinding them... that's not good! It's a cerebral palsy thing.
She she said everyone has been doing a really good job cleaning my teeth with my special three-sided toothbrush. Some days, I am helpful and let people brush my teeth. Some days, I am cheeky and bite down on the tooth brush or refuse to open my mouth!
The brushes cost about $5 each and Mum orders them online, in bulk. They are expensive, but they are really good!
Mum told her my dentist that I have lost four teeth, but she told Mum I've actually lost six! Oops... I think I swallowed a few more!
