Jimmy Harrington is 20 years old.
Jimmy met a little girl named Emily Crook.
She was diagnosed with leukemia when she was three years old. With bravery and a smile, she fought back, and beat the leukemia.
A few years later, Emily was diagnosed with a rare brain tumour.
Jimmy got to know Emily as she fought her brain cancer.
He was inspired by her strength and determination, her smile and her character, even as she fought cancer. Sadly, the brain cancer took Emily's young life.
After she lost her battle to live, Jimmy set out to raise awareness and money for research against this awful disease.
Jimmy is currently walking around Australia.
He has walked through Western Australia, the Northern Territory, Queensland and part of New South Wales. Jimmy is currently in Wollongong, and is due to arrive in Kiama some time tomorrow afternoon.
Jimmy aims to raise $300,000 for the Brainchild foundation, and is due to arrive back in Adelaide on the first of June, 2014.
