We're also coming up to the anniversary of Dexter's initial cancer detection...
the day when his pediatrician found the enlarged liver, and set us off on the path to kill Dexter's hepatoblasoma cells.
Those are big, emotional moments for us.
Memories rise to the surface at this time of year.
So, we wanted to share an old video of Dexter.
This was during his second round of chemotherapy.
He was about 14 months old and so chubby!
Every day the music therapist would come and see him, she liked making him smile and hearing his Mum and Dad laugh. That was important.
This was taken almost 2 years ago!
Watch it... and see if Dexter's smile doesn't make you smile.
