Because of my cerebral palsy, I couldn't just lie still, while the scan was being done. Instead, I needed the scan done while I was under sedation. (We are glad this worked. If the sedation didn't work, I would have needed another general anaesthetic to have the scan done.)
The stuff they gave me to go to sleep tasted like peppermint and I thought it was disgusting! I even held my breath for a bit, when they gave it to me!
Thankfully I fell asleep and we were able to get some good photos of my brain.
We were mainly looking at my eyes, but the MRI results will give us a chance to look at my brain; it will show how much brain damage I have).
I did like seeing my nurse friends and enjoyed a few sneaky cuddles with them!
