This was the first time I have used it, and it was so much fun!
I was able to be in the water safely, without anyone holding on to me.
I liked how it felt, having so much freedom with my arms and legs, and I did good splashing and kicking. It was cool, to be swimming with my noisy sister.
When I was in the baby pool, I was able to stand, and touch the bottom of the pool!
It was fun!
The new toy is a neck ring, that goes around my head. It was designed for people with special needs, like me. It supports me in the water, and allows me to be independent, in the water.
If I was in a regular floaty-circle, I would fall over, because I need support around my head, neck and torso. It's very safe, and is great for my kicking!
When I first got in the water with it, I was a bit unsure... and my leg muscles tightened up, so my legs were at the top of the water.
As I relaxed, me legs drifted down, and soon enough... I was kicking.
