I'm still getting back my strength, from my days in hospital.
I'm a bit skinnier, too.
Because I had a sore throat, Mum has been pureeing my food, again. She hasn't done that since my chemotherapy days! I love it when she does that - because I don't have to try to chew! I'm going to enjoy my pureed food, because I won't be getting it for much longer!
So, I've been a bit lazy, and haven't done much sitting or walking or standing exercises.
But when my physiotherapist arrived today...
I heard her voice, and I smiled!
Then she came inside... and I was so happy! I love my Zoe.
We made sure we had a couple of sneaky cuddles and kisses.
I wanted to show her how good I'm doing!
I worked really hard, too.
She loved how clever I am getting at looking.
My friends at Future Footprints taught me to 'look'. I still have a vision impairment, but I am learning to look at things.
You know, my Zoe is not just my physiotherapist... she's like an extra aunty....
An aunty I picked. Thanks for pushing me, Zoe.
And, thanks for being so proud of me. xxx
