We went to the local pool and did a lot of work.
Zoe bought some equipment, to help me learn to move and swim in the water.
Lots of people were in the pool and many of them watched us.
I think they were curious about what we were doing.
Some of them seemed a bit proud of me and smiled, which was nice.
I love the water!
I am getting really good at kicking and moving my arms.
I still like to turn my head and that means I keep swallowing the water.
Mum says that's not good!
I am confident in the water, and trust everyone who helps me.
In this photo, Zoe was teaching me about climbing out of the pool.
This year, I will have about 20 extra therapy sessions
because of the money raised through The Brooding Italian cafe.
We are so appreciative of this!
(Read more about The Brooding Italian coffee days here.
Or, visit The Brooding Italian webpage here.)
Unfortunately, this was my first and last hydrotherapy session for a long time.
I will be having my hip abduction surgery in 11 days, and after that,
I will be in full length, double leg casts for 6-8 weeks.
