(It's not with the wash out stuff, either!)
He's doing it for me. He's a great man. Ron's my only male therapist and we have lots of boy chats and do boy stuff. I need that.
Ron follows my facebook page, so he knows what we can talk about, while we swim. Being non-verbal, he can't understand the things I want to tell him. I love telling people everything, but they have trouble knowing what I am talking about.
This fundraiser was all his idea.
He wanted to raise $2,000. For me. For therapy. For swimming.
He wanted to do something kind, to show how much he cares.
*Dexter's NDIS plan isn't ready, yet.
He's not receiving any funding, at the moment. We have to wait for his plan to be finalised and the funding to start. Most people we know have already had their meetings and received their funding packages.
Not Dexter. Not yet.
At the moment, his parents are self-funding his physiotherapy, because physio is just so important. Dexter needs regular physio, so he maintains his muscles strength and his cerebral palsy doesn't have enough time to allow his muscles to forget what they have learned.
Since the funding stopped, at the start of July (because the NDIS "started"), his parents have spent over $1,000 on physiotherapy.
Today, Ron has raised $1,000 on his You Caring fundraising page.
Thank you!! xx
