Mum stayed with me today.
She really helped me show the teachers what I can do and that, even though some things can be tricky (like trying to use a pair of scissors together!), you just have to give it a go.
No limits, right?
I showed the teachers how I can talk using my switch and I even asked for an ice-cream at the canteen, like all the other kids!
The kids are noticing I'm different. Some of the other new kindy kids just watch me, but today some asked some really good questions. My favourite question was: What if my chair had a special button that would send me to the moon?!
That would be cool!
I think I'm going to like school!
**Today was tough for Mum, and not because I am growing up. Today was hard, because she watched the other new kindy kids running and playing and laughing and sitting together. That always hurts her, because she just wishes I could run and join them. She's so brave.
