If you return empty bottles and drink cans, you get a ten cent refund.
The team at Shellharbour Swim Academy came up with a clever idea.
They are collecting their drink bottles and cans.
They are saving them, so they can return them and earn the refund money.
And, they have asked if they could donate the Return and Earn money to Dexter.
Can you believe it?!
What a beautiful thing to do!
The Shellharbour Swim Academy are amazing with Dexter.
With all of us.
When we walk through the door, we feel loved.
We feel like it's the theme song from Cheers:
Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got.
Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot.
Wouldn't you like to get away?
Sometimes you want to go
Where everybody knows your name,
and they're always glad you came.
Everyone says hello to Dexter. They say hello to the whole family.
They care for us and look after us.
They raise money for Dexter and always make us feel welcome.
And now, they are collecting their bottles and their cans, so they can raise more money for Dexter.
**I'll be returning my drink containers, earning back some cash and adding it to the Shell Harbour Swim Academy's collection.
They have already given Dexter a bit over $20.
Dexter has no NDIS funding and needs a lot of new equipment.
Every dollar counts.

Thank you!
Thank you!
We can suggest the caramel slice, too! It is delicious!
Dexter loves it!
We buy some each Friday afternoon.
(We seem to have a reputation now, too, as the caramel slice eaters!)
People are good.
