My new swim teacher made me get out of the water because I apparently put my head under too many times and swallowed too much water... well that’s what I think of her!
I miss my proper swim teacher!
Today, everything hurt for the younger two and there were lots of tears.
Showing Mum how tall they have gotten helped make them smile - Mum is not crouching and my middle sister is on flat foot (she’s 7!).
Today, mum had an important phone call. So, I decided that was time to practice my talking... my very loud talking...!
Without mum saying anything to her, she took me into her room to keep me quiet. Once I settled down, she brought me back out.
But, mum was still talking... (NDIS = long, boring phone calls!).
So, I decided to talk again.... louder!
This time, mum went outside. When she finished the call, she realised I was quiet. That’s when this one said to her, “I told him he’d get a chocolate egg if he was quiet”!
I think I’ll keep this one!
She’s had a big month or so since this covid-19, isolation and homeschooling came about. She doesn’t like change and finds it hard to deal with. She has missed some kindergarten firsts and that’s been hard.
But, she has had some exciting things happen these last 2 days! Yesterday, she lost her first tooth! And then today, she just decided it was time to ride without her training wheels! I’m so proud of her.
We are lucky to have her in our lives and look forward to being able to give her a great big hug when this is all over!
But instead, we got up early and listened to the Canberra ceremony and then we went and watched the sunrise. We even saw dolphins. It was a beautiful morning to reflect on how lucky we are.
We thank all who have and are currently serving to protect our country.
This has been a project mum and dad have been working on for over a year now. (NDIS don’t make things easy sometimes!)
We were incredibly lucky and some people purchased the car for us (they knew we needed the car, but also knew we couldn’t afford the car).
We are so thankful to them and have so much love for them - there are some amazing people in the world.
I can’t wait to go exploring!
