We went to the footy, to watch Dad's favourite team play.
Once we got to Brookvale Oval, we made a phone call...
and were taken to our seats. Look how close we were to the game!
Dad saw one of his favourite players walk past, and was very excited!
We were a bit early, so we enjoyed the atmosphere, waiting for the first kick off. Before the game started, Dad was talking and it was shown on the big screen! That is so cool! We didn't get a photo of that, but Nanoo and Pokky were watching the television, and they saw us! We watched the cheerleaders march past and saw the players keeping warm. Dad smiled the whole time we were with the players! I was so tired though, and fell asleep on the Manly boys' massage table! Luckily, they didn't need to use it! Thanks for helping to organise this, Aunty Carol, love you! | The first half was amazing! Manly scored so many tries, and it was so loud, with everyone cheering! We sat right beside the players, and Dad thought that was the best thing! The second half was just as good. Mum even showed her respect to the Manly Club, wearing an Eagles shirt for the game. After Manly won, they invited us back to the change rooms. Dad was so excited! We talked with some of the players, and one of them even gave Mum a kiss on the cheek! What a big day for me! |
It was a day we will remember forever!
(And, maybe... just maybe, I was a good luck charm...)
