Today was the day the doctors told them about my brain damage.
It wasn’t a fun day and it has impacted our every day, ever since.
The doctors would not give them any idea about what caused my brain damage and they would not tell them what the future held for me.
Mum remembers being told that they didn’t know if I would be able to speak.
Seven years later, I only have a few words, but I am very vocal!
Today, I was super chatty during maths and so I used my communication book to say “I like this, clever, favourite”.
Today, I showed those doctors!
