I don't have the words to express things... I can't say what I am thinking.
But, I do have the sounds!
And, sometimes, I can be VERY vocal and VERY loud.
Today was one of those days...
I even got in a little bit of trouble because I was so loud! My teachers tried to work out what I was saying. They knew I was excited about something, but they couldn't work our what it was.
I get frustrated when people don't understand me, so I say things again and again... Louder and louder.
I got so loud, the teachers even had to take me out of the assembly hall. Twice!
Today is one of those days that Mum and Dad get a little sad. My brain damage and cerebral palsy stop me from having the freedom to use my words.
But today, they are also proud. They are proud of my teachers; for going mad at me and they are proud of me; for getting in trouble for talking, just like all the other kids!
