Where to go for Help (especially in Australia)
Over the last few years, we have learned a lot about different services that are available for people who are dealing with emotions and issues resulting from having a premature child... or a child with severe cerebral palsy... or a child with a cortical vision impairment... or childhood cancer.
We've learned a lot along the way.
These pages are designed to offer some suggestions on foundations and organisations, which are designed to provide support in those areas.
Some of these organisations have supported us in our journey.
Go to these pages for some starting points to learn more, or gain support and help, for:
cerebral palsy
cortical vision impairment
childhood cancer
and premature birth.
We've included some support organisations for miscarriage and infant loss.
Find books with characters who are strong, brave, clever, resilient and lovable... who also have a disability. There are also books for parents and carers of people with disabilities. Click on the links to read more.
