It had been almost a week, and I hadn't been to Dexter's house.
It felt weird being away for so long.
Matt Sok (TRS Protective Services) has been back. He has connected most of the security system and it looks fantastic. When this project was first being discussed, security was very important to me. Before this started, Dexter was known, but we had been careful to not give away too many private details, including his address. We know that most people are great... but, some people might not be.
Thanks to Matt, Emma and TRS Protective Services, Dexter's home will be fully secure, with wiring and alarms throughout the entire house. Alarm codes can be changed daily. With this, Dexter and his family will be kept safe. Matt provided labour and parts, at no cost. Thank you.
Rob from RS Electrical has been back, and more of the power points are connected. It's amazing the difference this makes to the wall... it looks so neat and finished. We are excited for the day when we can show the first photos with the lights on! Thanks, Rob!
Thanks also to Agostino, who has been at the house a lot. He's been able to source a lot of equipment, too! Thank you.
Anthony from Portelli Bathroom Renovations has been working on the tiles in the bathrooms. They look incredible. The bathroom is turning in to an actual room, again, and we can't wait to show you photos with everything in it! Thank you!
Thank you also, to Marino Stone, for the free tiles!
Rik and the TPI guys have been back, and have fitted out the laundry. Thank you!
The guys from MF Galliano Doors were at the house, making sure the built in robe doors ran smoothly. Thank you!
Jason Lynch is ready to go with the plumbing...
And then, we can move Dexter in!
The Thank You party will be some time in January, when everything is done.
It's just the bathrooms and finishing connecting the electrical points, blinds, some painting, landscaping, a mailbox and clothesline, a security door, a fence and the driveway and front ramp. (Some of these have already been arranged.)
We are hitting the budget, so we need to be careful with our bills. Some things will get worked on, over time, on weekends.
Without everyone's support, this would not have been possible! Thank you.
People are great!
