2015 has been a very busy year. Mostly, this has been a very good year for me! Surgical reviews were positive. My cancer cells stayed dead. I'm still determined and push myself to be stronger every day. I moved in to my brand new house! It fits all of my equipment and I am included in everything! I go out to the deck every day! I love being outside and this was always too hard before the renovations. I had one ambulance ride, two hospital visits and a few extra doctors appointments, as well as my surgical reviews. I loved preschool and learned a lot of new things! I went to my first two preschool birthday parties! My sister broke her arm and possibly a bone near her eye. We thought the youngest sister might have had a hearing impairment and had a few very stressful weeks while we went to several specialists appointments, but she seems fine, We thought the girls got chicken pox... but no, just a weird rash for 24 hours! Mum's exhausted and her body is starting to ask her for a rest. She hurt her wrist from lifting, dropped my chair on her foot (getting it out of the van) and broke her toe. She got a really bad flu for a few weeks and has been to the doctors a few times, for herself. She has given herself a hernia, from the lifting, which they are monitoring. Dad stayed strong. He loved working on the renovations of the house, and spent every weekend learning new skills. He enjoyed living with Aunty Carol for nearly five months! So, this year, we had a great year, It was busy, but there were many fun and happy things. Happy New Year, Everyone! We hope 2016 brings you health, happiness and love! Thanks for sharing our adventures with us. Here's to many more happy adventures in 2016. xx We loved how everyone cheered with me, when I achieved something new! We love that you see my strengths! Thank you. Because of her work with me, Caitlin was nominated for a pretty special award - The Australian College of Educators (Illawarra / South Coast Region) Outstanding Achievement in Education Award. And guess what? She won! I'm so proud of her! This photo was a shout out to her, and all of my facebook friends celebrated with us. Family is very important to me. I love my sisters. I love how noisy they are. I love hearing them play and laugh. I worry when they cry, but I chuckled when they get in trouble. I love being in my new home, where we can all relax together. |
