But, Mum would come in to the hospital each morning, and I would be tired and sleepy. (Dad was working.)
She wondered why I was so sleepy.
She noticed there was always a comfy chair near my bed.
She knew that meant I had been having night cuddles with the nurses.
They were cuddling me when she couldn't. They were making sure I was loved and being touched, which I have always loved. She liked that.
And then... she learned the reason I was sleepy during the day...
I was having all sorts of adventures during the night!
In my last week in Sydney, Mum left the camera near my bed, over night. She wanted the nurses to take some photos, so we could remember them... they had become like family.
And so... the nurses took some amazing photos.
Mum and Dad loved them!
One night, I was a cool rap artist and played some awesome tunes!
I didn't like that!
They tried to put a breathing mask on my face, as part of my costume. I always hated the breathing masks and constantly tried to pull them off.
So... I refused to look at the camera!
This was awesome! I sent a postcard home to Mum and Dad. I had my sunscreen on (bum cream!) and my fruit cocktail beside me. I wore my sunnies and singlet top and kicked back on my deck chair.
I was a pretty chilled out little traveller!
