They were having a car wash! Because of my cerebral palsy, I couldn't help wash the cars... so, I sent in a team of workers!
We dressed my noisy sister in my Music Makers shirt.
She has a broken elbow, but that didn't stop her from getting in, and having a go! We gave her a shammy, and set her to work, drying the cars.
She did a pretty good job. After she dried a few cars, we let her have a rest, and she played in our car. She is only two, so I suppose I worked her hard enough.
Aunty Carol took over the noisy one's shammy job, and helped dry lots of cars!
Mum and Dad had to take turns with the car washing duties.
Dad shammied lots and lots of cars, while Mum played with us and gave us some lunch. Then, we sent Mum in, and she was on washing duty! She was lucky, too... because she was just in time for a bunch of four wheel drives!
There was a great atmosphere, and everyone was washing and drying the cars with a smile.
Melissa did a great job, organising this, and the money from today will help with the Music Makers' Creative Performance Evening. This concert is the Music Makers' annual fundraising charity concert, where they raise money for the Disability Trust.
If you want to go to the concert, let us know!
It's on May 22nd, at Towradgi Beach Hotel.
And, look! It's us and Melissa!
My noisy sister was so excited to see 'Elissa, again. She thinks Melissa is very cool.
See you all in May, for the Performance Evening!
