Many people have hemiplegic cerebral palsy. That means they have limited movement and/or control, on one side of their body. This especially affects their arm and leg on one side.
To experience what this might feel like, strap one arm to your body and immobilise your leg. You could tie a ruler behind your knee. Do the things you would usually do in the day. You might find you need extra time, and that some things are more difficult. Going up and down stairs, getting on to the floor and walking for a long time might be challenging.
