It's a crazy time of year.
And, it's a good time to think of people who have it a little tougher than we do.
Like... Kids with alopecia or kids who have lost their hair because of chemotherapy treatments.
Meet my friend Audrey.
When her Mum told my Mum they were going to cut and donate Audrey's hair, my Mum told Dad. And, Mum shed a tear - not because of the hair cut, but because she was so proud of Audrey and her Mum for donating the hair.
I lost ALL my hair when I had chemotherapy, even my eyelashes!
That was emotional and I was only little, so we can only imagine how emotional it would be for a young girl to loose all her hair.
Hopefully Audrey's hair can make a little girl smile again.
Hopefully, the hair can make a little girl feel strong and brave and powerful.
You are a beautiful girl Audrey! xx
Show Audrey that you think this was a nice present to give at Christmas time, by donating to her everydayhero fundraising page. She's five, like me.
Her hair was so long!
Her family wants to raise $700 for The Variety Club.
Support her here. Tell her I sent you!
The money goes to Variety (The Children's Charity) and will be used to buy wigs for children with medical conditions.
Wigs cost families up to $6,000, lasting 1-2 years, meaning families can spend tens of thousands of dollars on the purchase of wigs throughout a child’s youth. By making a donation to Variety - the Children's Charity, you can help provide a wig or other vital equipment to a child in need. Thank you for helping kids to simply enjoy being a kid.

Children with Alopecia areata also lose their hair. This type of hair loss typically causes patches of baldness. Children with alopecia might get bullied or have people constantly asking about their patches or bald heads. Wigs help the kids to avoid these questions and let them focus on just being kids.
What do you think? Are you up for a little Christmas giving?
