What a big and fun day we had!
Thanks so much to everyone who came and said 'hi'. I met some new friends, caught up with some beautiful 'old' friends and finally met some long-time supporters.
I met so many people, and gave lots of high-fives.
Lots of people noticed my eyelashes!
On Friday night, a raffle was arranged for us. Masters donated a lawn mower and a six kilogram clothes drier, as the prizes. We went there on Saturday, to sell raffle tickets and spread the word about the Doing it for Dexter house renovations.
The incredible staff at Masters set us up in the middle of the store, and kept coming by to check that we were ok. They offered food and coffee... and even slipped us some pieces of delicious home-made fudge!
The Doing it for Dexter project was talked about, over the PA system, all day. When the i98FM Fleet Street got there, they shouted out to us, too!
I met some people from the Warilla Surf Club, and they invited me out on the big patrol board, when it's summer.
Yesterday, we were going to go to Masters, to support them in their Opening Weekend celebrations. Instead, Masters showed us even more support.
The raffle raised just over $600! We're not to too sure what we will buy... maybe some down lights, or taps... something for the house.
Thank you to everyone who came down, said hello and purchased a raffle ticket. Your support and smiles meant so much to us!
Congratulations to Bev and Pauline on your wins!
Thanks Masters Home Improvement! You made us feel like family. xx
