1,000,000!
Thank you!
This website started when I was diagnosed with my hepatoblastoma and I was just starting my chemotherapy treatments.
You stayed with us, and that encouraged us to keep sharing my story.
You've been with us while we learned more and more about cerebral palsy and a life of quadriplegia.
You were beside us while we learned how noisy I am, despite me being non-verbal.
You have supported us as we learned about cortical vision impairment.
You stood beside me while I fought cancer.
You cried tears on our worst days and celebrated with us on our best days. Usually, we keep the hardest days to ourselves. We try to steer away from the negatives and we keep most of our fears to ourselves. But, sometimes.... Sometimes, we need support and when we do, you are always there for us.
You are proud of me and encourage me to keep going.
We appreciate that.
We know that a million hits is just a little ripple, but still... that is a million times people have looked at my website. That is a lot of people I have reached. It is a lot of people who have learned some more about cerebral palsy, cortical vision impairment, hepatoblastoma and my premature birth.
Hopefully, we have inspired some people.
Hopefully, some families having difficulties with a new diagnosis found strength in our posts.
Hopefully, we have helped some people feel less afraid to say hi to someone in a wheelchair... perhaps even someone who can't say hi back.
We've met some incredible people and made some lovely friends.
We've had countless heartbreaks and many, many scares... scares so frightening they take our breaths away.
But, we've always had hope and silver linings, rainbows and a never give up attitude.
Because of that, we have had so many cool adventures.
We hope to share many, many more adventures with you!
Thanks for sticking around. xC
Thank you for supporting us in all we do.
Thank you for seeing the strengths in me.
