Hi! I have a challenge for you!
Mum needs some ideas for my morning and afternoon tea.
I used to love mashed banana and muesli bars and I loved pureed fruit and shortbread cream biscuits.
Now... I don't!
I eat meat, veges and pasta for dinner and enjoy quiches and eggs. (It's so lucky I outgrew my chemo-induced egg allergy!)
I eat porridge or weetbix for breakfast.
I need extra calories, because of my cerebral palsy. That means, I can have high calorie foods for my morning and afternoon tea. I don't really chew - partly because I have a habit of grinding my teeth away!
We don't want to puree my food, because we've worked hard at getting me used to eating chunkier food.
Sandwiches are not so great and smoothies are out, because I don't tolerate milk. I do drink lactose free milk.
Can anyone help? What are some good ideas for morning and afternoon teas?
