We are trying to work out different ways for me to communicate.
I've always been a bit cheeky with my speech therapists.
In Adelaide, I told my speech therapist I wanted to 'pack up' and 'go home'. She wasn't sure I got it right, so she helped me do it again. I told her the same thing.
Today, using these pictures and my head nodding, I told my speech therapist: Hurry up, Do something else and Goodbye!
Mum was pretty proud of me! It shows I know what I want.
Now, I just have to learn to be more patient, and learn how to use these pictures.
These are the pictures I nodded for today:
She had to add a 'person' to the people page. She added 'aunty'.
She put a peg on that page, so we could find it easily.
Next, she found 'great'. She put a peg on that page, too.
Now, she is going to work on teaching me to 'say' Aunty Carol is great.
She's a bit cheeky, too!
