My school are awesome. There were 12 students and one teacher who shaved their hair at the morning assembly, to raise money and awareness for leukaemia.
We raised over $6,000!
At lunch, my very special friend recorded herself speaking into my communication switch. She said "I'm shaving my hair!" She knows me so well. All through lunch, I was pressing that big red button, so the recording could be heard. I wanted to tell everyone about my hair being shaved.
My teacher's aides shaved my hair, with the help of a special guest!
My Ron!
I loved it!
My big cousin shaved his hair and so did Aunty Carol. She shaved her hair once before, when I was diagnosed with cancer and started losing my hair. Now, I am in remission from my hepatoblastoma.
This time, we shaved our hair for fun, not for chemo.
That was a fun day! I was so happy, all afternoon.
