I had to go to Sydney, to see one of my surgeons. He is my favourite, because his scars are so neat! He also cut out my cancer. He was checking me, to make sure one of my other surgeries healed well. He won't need to see me for a few years, so that's good!
I had to get another needle, for a blood test. I don't like needles! Usually, people have a lot of trouble, finding a good vein in my arms and feet. I've had so many needles, my veins are a bit weak. This blood test was following up on my CT scans/Cancer Checks in Sydney. I'll go back to Sydney, and my oncologists will check everything, to make sure my cancer is still dead.
(This is a scary time for Mum and Dad.)
Mum has been driving around, getting things for the house.
We swapped our new front door... for a wider one, for my wheelchair.
The Noisy Sister thinks we should paint it pink.
I made Aunty Carol sweep the floor of my new house. She did so much sweeping, she got a big blister. I've been through much worse than a blister, though, so I sent her back to sweep some more!
I've been working on my sitting and my standing, and I am getting pretty strong. I am good at switching off the lights and I am working on getting a spoonful of food in to my mouth, and brushing my teeth. This cerebral palsy thing is a bit tricky!
At the house, we've had lots of things happening! It's been exciting, and there are some very big changes coming up! Head over and check them out!
Happy Long Weekend! xxx
