My school had a Crazy Hair Day fundraiser!
That was so much fun. Everyone had the coolest hairdos.
We did that because nine students, a teacher, two mums, two dads and one grandmother shaved their hair.
They shaved to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.
This was the Crazy Aunt’s third time to Shave. Her hair was still growing back from last year, so Mum helped her wear a high Mohawk for the Crazy Hair Day. It had so much product in it (to make the hair stand up) that we struggled to cut through her hair when we were shaving it.
The first time my aunt shaved her hair, my hair had been shaved because I was having chemotherapy treatments. That Shave was my first ever hair cut. After that, I was bald because of the chemotherapy treatments I needed.
This year, I didn't want to shave my hair because I want long hair.
My swimming teacher and his wife shaved their hair, too!
You can still donate. The link is after the photos.
