The first year, he sat with me in the hospital's neo-natal intensive care unit for a few hours before going to the Wollongong lighthouse for a quiet picnic lunch.
It was a little bit sad.
The second year, I was between chemotherapy rounds and feeling a bit sick.
We went for a picnic lunch at our lighthouse.
It was a bit happy and a bit scary, because of the chemo.
And, this year?
This year, I am feeling healthy and cheeky!
This year, we are at a Camp Quality camp and I am promising Dad
I will not be getting sick, and we will not need anything medical today!
That is his best Father's Day present!
Happy Father's Day, Dad. We love you you! xxx
