We really are seeing progress from my wearing the theratogs suit.
Because of my cerebral palsy, it is important
that my body always does some work... or I might forget things.
It was very strange walking in my walker with no shoes on.
And, I was walking inside, not on my footpath...
And, I was walking on smooth floorboards.
Each time I got across the room, someone would lift me
and carry my walker and I back to the starting place again!
Lots of kids with cerebral palsy have trouble traveling long distances in a car.
Their muscles get very tight and sore and they cry.
It gets so bad, they have to get out of their chairs and lie down for a while.
I was lucky. I got a bit sore at the end of the journey, but mostly, I was ok.
When we stopped, Mum and Dad made sure I had some time to lie down
and stretch my muscles.
