They sometimes climb into my bed in the morning and read to me, or play or climb on me. They give me kisses. They turn the noisy toys on, so I can play. They show me things. They help me write on cards. They race me at wheelchair basketball.
I love the Noisy Sisters.
She got in trouble for it. It didn't really hurt, but it was annoying!
I can only imagine what the sisters will get up to when they get older...
If I get in trouble, the Noisy Sisters get very quiet. I think they are listening to see how much trouble I'm getting in! Maybe they are a bit happy that I get in trouble too, but mostly, I think they are ready to come and protect me.
If I need it.
They push my wheelchair when we are at the shops.
They think of ways to include me.
They pick things I can eat and try to feed me.
They wipe my face and hold my hands.
They let me sing with them.
And, they make sure I can do something fun if they do something that I can't do.
Their lives would be very different, if they didn't have a brother with cerebral palsy.
Their lives would be very different, if I was running around, starting the games and protecting them. (And, wrecking their stuff!)
My sisters have a brother with severe cerebral palsy. They have a brother who needs helps with everything and who needs more time to get things done. They have a brother who can't use words to talk to them.
I think, because of me, my sisters are going to be wonderful people. They are already very thoughtful and considerate of others. The first Noisy Sister is quick to include others and helps people when they are sad or hurt.
(They are kids and they still throw tantrums, but they have some wonderful traits.)
Because of my cerebral palsy, life is hard, but we have some incredible times, too. We know how to celebrate the good stuff, weather the bad days and find the silver linings to help us get back up again.
Cerebral palsy has helped me build a beautiful relationship with my sisters and I know they will always be there for me.
I am so lucky!
Korey has cerebral palsy, too.
Korey has a brother who loves him.... and who plays tricks on him.
Korey wrote a best man's speech for his twin brother, Kyle.
It's lovely. And, funny.
Korey is in a wheelchair and is non-verbal.
Korey prepared the best man speech and made his brother read it.
And, Korey gets some revenge on Kyle, for all the tricks he played on him!
I hope my sisters never see this...
If they do, they will have me wrapped up in wool, for sure!
Not cotton wool... knitting wool! (Watch the video - you'll see!)

Help us raise awareness by telling people about cerebral palsy. Can you make an activity more inclusive, so someone who faces extra hurdles can play too?
Over on instagram, we're sharing daily challenges. Come over and play along.
