Today is the day you consider yourself lucky, when you put healthy children to bed, and don't need to use a Ronald McDonald House bedroom.
We're been busy, with Dexter's surgery and recovery and a few other things happening, so we are recycling last year's McHappy Day post.
Dexter, his two sisters and his parents (plus an aunt and a grandmother) have slept in a Ronald McDonald House... not all at once, because Dexter was usually on the ward, and he is never left to spend a night in hospital alone. No matter how exhausted his parents are, one of them is always by his side, unless he is in the intensive care unit.
Here's last year's post: McHappy Day 2013
Dexter is now about 21 months cancer clear.
His cerebral palsy will keep us needing rooms at Randwick Ronald McDonald House.
