Four years ago, I don't think my 'grown ups' would have thought to look for one.
So this is a Raising Awareness post about Medic Bracelets.
We figure that is the best place for it.
We figure, if something happens and no one who knows me can help me... we're probably in the car. It's hanging up, near my head.
We were very limited as to what could be written on it. Trying to fit non-verbal, quadriplegic cerebral palsy, cortical vision impairment and my allergies on it was almost impossible. We cut it down as much as we could.
If ever you come across an accident, or a child on their own, look for a medic alert bracelet.
Maybe the child is like me, and can't talk.
The bracelet will probably tell you their name, and could have a contact person's name and phone number. The child may not be wearing it, like me. So, look around them; in the pram, wheelchair, car...
Here's hoping you never need to find a medical bracelet.
