She was carrying me when her right ankle gave way, causing her to fall.
To protect me, she took the full force on her left knee and right wrist.
She now has a bruised, swollen and scratched up left knee, a slightly bruised and swollen right ankle and a sore wrist (from jarring it to protect my head from hitting the ground!).
She was a little embarrassed, but is ok!
I'm getting heavy now and I am very tall. I'm about 25 kilograms.
I'm still being lifted and carried, and usually, that it easy enough.
I'm lucky that Mum was strong enough and fast enough to fall while holding me high, keeping me safe.
