Every other night, he can’t sleep and we are up with him through the night.
He is more relaxed when we move him, so his pain is becoming manageable. He is awkward to move and heavy, but we tell him we are doing our best.
Dexter knows he can’t go in the water. If his sisters go swimming, he gets delicious food or a movie.
We have set up a mobile stand for him. We hang toys and bright objects as well as some bells. Dexter is mostly on his back and we can only imagine how boring it must be for him.
They definitely make life easier!
Also, a metal tab sticks out from the sides of the brace and bruising Dexter’s arm. The shorts help protect him a little. Dexter’s Nanoo made these shorts.
But, he is also trying to help us.
His parents are doing ok, but it is not easy and they have moments of of real heartache, sadness and frustration.
Thank you for the support and kindness we have received.
