I have been fighting my bad feelings for a while, but today, it was too much. I'm sleeping in hospital, tonight. Here's what happened:
I've been feeling a bit off for the last couple of days.
My temperature kept going up. I don't have the words to tell anyone where it hurts, so I just whinge and when it gets bad, I need constant contact... usually with Mum. I spent Saturday afternoon on her lap, and I rarely agree to sit on anyone's lap for more than two kisses! They gave me medicine, and I was ok during the night.
Today, Dad went to golf, and I was going to the Special Olympics Bowling... but my temperature went way up... and Mum called Dad.
We were in the Kid's Emergency department for about 6-7 hours.
Sometimes, I was being cheeky and happy... then, my temperature would spike, I would get shaky and my legs would have goosebumps. I don't have many words, but at times like this... I say 'ow'.
Finally, I was taken up to the Kids' Ward. They look after me, there.
I know some of the nurses there. One of my favourite Kids' ward nurses is coming in tomorrow, so I will be happy to see her.
(Maybe we will run in to my Premmie Nurses, while we are at the hospital.)
They gave me fluids and some antibiotics.
I'm not sure what's wrong, but one of my friends think I have girl germs.
I think she's right! I hope they have antibiotics for that!
My sister is at home, with Dad. Mum and I are sleeping here tonight.
We'll keep you updated as much as we can.
It's been about 5 months since I was admitted to hospital!
I won't be able to go to preschool, tomorrow!
Thanks for the love, guys. No sloppy kisses.... I have been (unofficially) diagnosed with Girl Germs
