Five and a half years ago, we knew nothing about cerebral palsy.
Now, we've learned a lot; most of the the 'hard way'.
We hate cerebral palsy for the limits it puts on me, the daily challenges it brings, the sleepless nights and for the way it took some of my vision and my words.
But, because of cerebral palsy, we have met some really beautiful people we now regard as friends. We've developed an amazing village of supporters, who always help us on the hardest days.
And, we have felt love and joy, pride and hope.
We chose to chase the rainbows and look for the silver linings, instead of focusing on the hardships and challenges. It was a great choice, because now we really believe our No Limits mantra and will always look for a way. We're constantly up for adventures and have a lot of fun.
We always talk about cerebral palsy, so... for World Cerebral Palsy Day, we shared some of our challenges from earlier in the year.
Have a great day. Be thankful that your body does what your brain tells it to!!
Mostly, my body doesn't like to listen to my brain!!
